What we mean by a neural operating system

1 min readNeuroDOCTRINE

One operator's judgement, carried across the machines that have to act on it.

The work is a closed loop. A person decides. The machines carry that decision out, at a speed and a scale one pair of hands cannot.

NeuroDOCTRINE is that loop: a neural operating system for defence, space, and autonomous systems. It measures, trains, and commands from the operator. It does not take the decision away.

Human judgement, machine execution

Autonomy that removes the person is a different product. We build the interface that lets one operator's judgement scale, while the system executes with a consistency judgement alone cannot match. The mission is cognitive superiority for every operator.

One mind. Many machines. Nothing in between.
  • Defence, where a swarm still has to answer to a person.
  • Space and robotics, where the loop has to survive distance.
  • Military medicine, where the same signals have to serve recovery.
